On 26/07, I arrived at the inn and told the receptionist I wanted to check in. He asked when I'd booked, and when I said just recently, he sighed several times and told me online bookings had to be made before 10pm. Seriously, kurang ajar nya kamu. If you don't want to deal with late bookings, why list rooms on Agoda? A guest might book late because you haven't closed your allotment in AGODA. Fikir logik lah. Who are you to decide when guests can book? To the male receptionist on the midnight shift: if late check-ins are too much for you, bagus ko carik bidang lain utk kerja. Even at an inn, guests should be treated politely.

So far, so good, though it's actually an old hotel. On my last day, after checking out, I asked the lady whether the aircond in the lobby was working because it was scorching hot. She said it was broken. I waited in the lobby for my friend to pick me up, and the front counter lady kept staring at me as if I'd done something wrong. Hahaha.

I'm satisfied with this hotel. It suits my pocket, and I got what I paid for. The room and bathroom were clean when I arrived, with plenty of space for the nightly price, and the hotel has WiFi. The smell was a little musty, but I could live with it. Spray your perfume if you find it unpleasant. It's a renovated old hotel, so the bathroom door is hardwood rather than plywood or hard plastic. The hotel is near the busy city, but it's on a side road, not the main road. Parking is limited, so a compact car is a good idea if you're renting one to get around Miri. I had booked online before and cancelled at the last minute after the free cancellation period ended. The owner was considerate and refunded me, since I'd stayed here before MCO and was a returning customer/tenant.
