The staff are kind and helpful. The hotel is very minimal, though, and really only suits someone looking for a bed, air conditioning, and a hot shower. Staying more than two nights? You need to ask for room service, or they won’t replace the towels or top up the water. A little shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap would help.

The triple suite had enough room for three, and it was clean, comfortable, and had an okay bathroom. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I booked through the Oyo app, and I’d stay here again if I needed somewhere near JB. Getting there can be confusing the first time, since you have to drive through rows of houses. They also have just one iron for the whole place. It’d be better to have one on every level, but it was manageable.

I found both the bedroom and washroom dirty when I arrived, as if they hadn’t been properly cleaned. The stained sheets and pillowcases felt unhygienic and made it hard to feel comfortable. The noise was also unbearable and kept me from resting. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room itself was apparently comfortable, and the staff explained that the stained bedsheet had been washed clean. Still, parking comes with a warning: if you drive, park at your own risk. A night staff member said the budget hotel wasn’t responsible for guests’ cars. If you’re a light sleeper, pay attention to where you leave the car. At 9am they called the room phone and told me to move it immediately because contractors needed to do construction work. They should put up clearer signs about where not to park when work is planned for the next day, so guests aren’t woken up during their sleep.
