Pinetree Marina Resort

The daily bento breakfast was yummy, and thanks to Jeremy for making sure we got vegetarian food since we're vegetarians and vegans. Our two-bedroom Premium apartment was spacious, clean, and had a great sea view, plus a big bathtub. It's a lovely, quiet place to stay with family, just above Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour. We enjoyed both the stay and HRC, including the 15% discount on F&B and 20% off merchandise for hotel guests. The kitchen and toilet cabinets need fixing, but that wasn't a deal breaker. It's an awesome spot to relax in a quiet setting.

Everyone provided good service. Mr Murad handled my last-minute booking smoothly, and Roshaide at the front desk was helpful and carried our bags. Amin cleaned the room well, leaving everything neat and comfortable. Firdaus, the housekeeping supervisor, was excellent, always making sure the place was clean and accommodating us at any time of day. Thank you to the Hotel Pinetree Marina Resort team!

We've stayed here four or five times with our three children. They love the spacious room, and I like the cleanliness and the convenient automated clothes hanger and washer-dryer. The infinity pool and its amazing view are always a highlight. We checked in late, around 10pm, on our most recent visit. The bed arrangement was wrong, and then there was an air-conditioning issue, the first time we'd run into that problem. Jeremy was exceptionally helpful and patiently went back and forth to change our room twice. In the end he sorted everything out, sincerely apologized for the trouble, and offered a late checkout and complimentary breakfast next door at Fraser’s. His service really turned things around for us.

We arrived in the afternoon to leave our luggage and noticed water leaking beside the window, a strong unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and a remote that didn't work. I messaged the host, who said maintenance would be sent, but didn't reply when I asked whether they'd come right away or later, since we wouldn't be there. Before going out, we checked several times that the door was locked because our belongings were inside. When we returned that night, it was unlocked and held open by a door stopper, with no prior notice. Two of us called the host while the other two spoke to reception. We raised the safety concern and asked for a refund or room change. The host repeatedly told us to deal with reception and was impatient on the call. Reception initially said there were no rooms available. When we called the host again to pass that on, he impatiently said he hadn't contacted reception yet and told us to wait. After he contacted them, we were suddenly told a room change was available. We also asked reception to let us check the corridor CCTV. We'd been out for quite some time and worried someone might have entered after the maintenance person left while the door was open. Reception first said they had to ask, then refused to let us view it. The replacement room was in poor condition too, with dead cockroaches on the floor, brown stains on a chair, and another remote that didn't work. I had asked the host what amenities were provided and was told dental kits and shaving kits were included, but neither was in the unit. This stay had serious safety, cleanliness, and communication problems.
