Bidaisari Resort

The grounds are nicely landscaped, with different places to stay, some tucked into lush greenery. There’s a fishing pond, though it didn’t seem to have any fish. The pool had leaves and debris in it and didn’t look clean enough for swimming. Service was a little slow, and there is some parking by the entrance.

I paid RM1k for one night because the photos looked good, but I was so disappointed. The place is run down and poorly maintained, and some facilities feel dangerous. The wooden walkway by the swimming pool definitely didn’t seem safe. The garden, surroundings, and grass all looked neglected. Save your money, there are lots of other places to choose from.

The nasi lemak at the coffee terrace was the one good part, quite excellent. The rest of the stay didn’t meet my expectations. The place felt unwelcoming, and the room was just so-so for what we paid. Wi-Fi was down, the jacuzzi pool was yellowish and not working, and the wooden pool flooring needed attention. There was no buggy service from the parking lot to our room during my stay. The resort management needs to do more maintenance.

I stayed in a water cottage for seven people. The decor was decent, though this isn’t a luxury resort, and the room rate felt overpriced. The Admin office closes at 5 pm, so there’s no room service after that. The cafeteria has a simple breakfast but no dinner, which meant I had to drive elsewhere to eat. I did enjoy the natural surroundings and cool weather.
