7 Hung Hung Inn

The location is good, but this is a low price, no star hotel. My stay at 7 Hung Hung hotel was shocking. I’d strongly recommend avoiding it unless you can tahan the conditions for the lower price. Cleanliness was abysmal, with no proper housekeeping. The toilet was disgusting, with hardened splash marks from previous guests. The old, worn bed sheets and pillows looked more like rags than linens and felt unsanitary. There were roaches and plaster bagworms in the room, and the air conditioning unit was grimy. The room faces the main road towards CIQ, where traffic is "always" heavy. The thin, badly sealed window let in every motorbike and vehicle racing past. It sounded as if there was no window at all. They require a M$50 deposit but give no acknowledgement slip. They also lend you one tap card, an aircon remote and a TV remote. Return them at checkout to get the refund. The hotel failed at basic hygiene and comfort. I wouldn’t stay even if the room were free.

Please don’t stay here. The lobby smelled like urine as soon as I walked in, and the room smelled too. The bed sheets and pillows were dirty, and the bathroom was dirty, with yellow stains on the water closet and basin. This place is a red flag hotel. I’m sharing my bad experience because I think everyone deserves better, and there are a lot of good places at the same prices.

Communication was difficult when I needed to cancel and get a refund. The place was dirty and smelled bad, and sometimes it was hard to find parking nearby. The hired staff member wasn’t local and could barely speak English or Malay properly, so it was hard to communicate. Not suitable for a family overnight stay.

It’s a red light district with lots of shops. The room was spacious, but had many mosquitoes. There’s no bidet in the toilet, just a hose, and the toilet door wouldn’t lock.
