They cancelled my booking for two rooms on the very day we were due to check in, then moved us to smaller, cheaper rooms at Livecom Hotel. I was holding my wedding here, and security wouldn’t let us bring in loading items or open the parking gate. Guests were only allowed in at 9 a.m., even though the event started at 8. They wouldn’t let even a person with OKU status park in an OKU space. The security staff were very rude. The management was the worst.

Kopitiam lost my Shopee parcel, which cost RM214. When we asked for CCTV footage, they didn’t reply. I couldn’t get a refund and wasn’t able to investigate further.

We wanted somewhere away from the city, and Bayu Marina gave us a quiet setting overlooking a canal. It was a peaceful break from the city bustle. Getting around mattered for our family, so we relied on Grab for shopping and essential food. The suite was spacious enough for our family of eight to stay comfortably. There’s a large open living room where we could dine and spend time together. The Wi-Fi and shower facilities were the usual kind you’d find in a hotel.

The rooftop view was amazing, and the swimming view is so nice. It’s a relaxing place, and I’d like to come back. I got some assignment work done by the poolside. The host was friendly and helpful, and the service apartment is just a stone’s throw from many places of interest.

The room didn’t feel secure, with only a small key to get in, and my parking spot kept being taken by random cars. It’s very dated. I booked through Agoda and regretted it. Roaches were coming in through the basin, and the stove didn’t work.
