The capsule room was clean and surprisingly nice, and the receptionist was friendly. There’s no lift, but it isn’t a difficult climb. The shared toilet and shower are outside the room. Downstairs there’s a 7 eleven, and the area is busy with people shopping and eating. Parking is in an open public lot and costs money, though we checked in late and skipped paying. I’d recommend staying here.

For the price, this is the cheapest place in Mount Austin, and it was clean. The four shared bathrooms were kept in good condition. Towels aren’t in the room, so ask reception for them, and toiletries cost RM5 per travel-size set. You can hear the live band at the bar across the street at night, so it may not suit families with young kids.

I stayed during MCO, when the pub across the road wasn’t open, so there was no noise issue. It’s a nice, affordable, simple place with a hipster look. They should add a pants hanger, provide towels for guests who don’t want to pack a bulky one, and improve security for customers’ cars parked in front of the hotel.

The room was comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, and the location was easy to find, close to 711 and other convenience stores. Bring an extra plug if you’re staying. The staff were friendly, and although reception shuts at 11, the owner made sure I could get my key when traffic delayed me by an hour.

I stayed two nights in a small but clean single room with a shared bathroom. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and a 7/11 next door. The location was good, but they charged RM20 in tourism tax. No towel or water was provided.
