We left after just one night and hurriedly found somewhere else for the remaining two nights of our stay in JB. The hotel wouldn't refund the two nights we gave up, which was unfortunate. At the same price, there are plenty of other hotels that do better, and I won't return. I felt seriously cheated by the photos and description. From the moment we arrived, the lobby smelled musty and the air conditioning was off. The room looked nothing like the bright, sparkling one advertised. It was dim and felt musty too. The sheets and towels were old, some had turned grey, and they were dirty, torn, or stained. We got rashes from them. There was also a brown mark on the toilet seat that couldn't be removed. It was so gross that we had to hover over the bowl. The lift shook and made noises as it moved, like it might fail at any moment. The air conditioning stopped working suddenly at one point. Everything felt old and shabby. The pictures I took make the difference between the room we got and the advertised one pretty obvious.

For my one night in February 2026, I had a spacious room with a fridge and kettle. The Wi-Fi was fast, and complimentary water was provided. Good value for money.

I paid RM20 for an early check-in and left a RM50 deposit. When I first got into the room, I saw a small stain on the bed that looked like blood. I was exhausted and didn't bring it up then. At checkout the next day, I returned the key card and asked for my deposit back. Staff had someone inspect the room, then sent me a photo of the bed and said there was a stain. They told me they'd take RM20 from the deposit. Since the mark was there when I arrived, that felt unfair. The experience made me uncomfortable and concerned about how the hotel handles things. I don't plan to stay here again, and I want to formally report it for further investigation.

Some smokers are why I'm giving it three stars. The room is small, but at S$25-S$30 it's fine for a night. The location is convenient: several durian shops are right outside, TR supermarket is next door, and there's a good Hakka restaurant nearby. App parking is available and free from 6pm to 8am.

For our first stay, we spent 3D 2N here. The family room rate was affordable, and the hotel was comfortable and conveniently located near Plaza Angsana and Johor Bahru City. I'd come back and stay again.
