We booked the apartment for 8D7N while attending a course in JB. Sadly, the condition of the place made us feel unwell and affected our time during the course. The online photos didn’t match what we found, and after this experience, I would NOT recommend booking with Neo Suites. The first apartment smelled bad, the toilets were dirty, and the toilet cabinets were peeling and looked very unhygienic. We asked to move and were given another unit, but had no real choice because nothing else was available for our dates. The replacement still had visible dust throughout the bedrooms and living area. There were also lots of ants. Staff cleaned that evening, but the ants came back the next day even though we hadn’t left rubbish around. We had to wipe down dining chairs ourselves because they were heavily stained with what looked like old coffee. I chose Neo Suites because my previous apartment, which is no longer available, had been exceptionally well kept and comfortable, with no faults I could pick out. This stay was the complete opposite.

The host made us feel welcome and looked after us from check-in through checkout. Everything was clean and prepared, and the stay was amazing. I’d definitely come back.

We were happy with the stay. The balcony view is outstanding, and check-in was straightforward. The rooms and toilet were clean. Parking was fine too. We were meant to park on level 3, but the guard said we could park anywhere on Lvl 2.

The sea view and comfortable beds were the only positives. The sofa and carpet looked old and stained, quite unlike the photos, and one bathroom heater wasn’t working. The customer service was disappointing. A day before check-in I was told my sea-view unit had a fault. After hours of negotiating, I finally got another unit. When I arrived, I was given the wrong key with no explanation or apology.
