The food at Makan Kitchen was delicious, with plenty of choices, and the family-friendly atmosphere suited our son's birthday celebration. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, and they took care to accommodate our requests. The whole event felt well organised, from the planning stage through the day itself, and their help made the process easy for our family. We felt genuinely welcomed, and the team worked together well. Thanks to everyone who helped make the birthday memorable. The service and coordination were outstanding, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Makan Kitchen at DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru for a special occasion. We look forward to returning.

We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton for a short family getaway over the Vesak Day holiday, from 31 May to 1 June. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and reception handled things promptly and efficiently. Breakfast got especially busy from 8:45 to 9:45 am. Our queue moved quickly and we were seated without much delay, but guests who arrived later had a much longer wait. It was good to see the manager personally clearing tables to help people get seated. Maybe breakfast time slots during peak periods could spread the crowd out and shorten waits. Thanks to the team for an enjoyable stay. =)

The room was comfortable and clean, and everyone on staff was wonderful. Lutfi at the front desk stood out for being warm, approachable, and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. He made us feel welcome and helped make the stay enjoyable. We'd happily come back.

We had a lovely stay at DoubleTree and will definitely return. The hotel was spotless, the bed was plush, and Makan Kitchen had a great spread. The chefs and waiters were warm and attentive. Ain at reception was friendly and efficient, making both check-in and check-out smooth. Boss Ilman was especially kind to my child, who absolutely adored his thoughtful approach. I'm grateful for that and for the hospitality from everyone.

We've brought the family here several times, and the value for the price still feels almost unbelievable. Comfortable rooms, tasty buffet food, a beautiful view, a very convenient location, and everything is clean. Mr. Ilman deserves a round of applause for being so polite. The other staff could take inspiration from the service he gives. Thank you, DoubleTree, for the great hotel and such positive, outstanding staff. We really appreciate Mr. Ilman's service and will definitely come again. Much love 🌟🌟🌟
