G5 Hotel & Serviced Apartment

My husband booked us a room at G5, and we were assigned one in the basement. It smelled of sewage as soon as we entered and was dusty and dirty, just as other reviews said. There were stains on the toilet bowl and pretty much everywhere else. I couldn’t last more than 15 minutes in the room, so I checked out immediately without staying. I would absolutely not recommend it.

What kind of hotel is this? I want to stay at a hotel, but you won’t give me a card and insist on cash. Do you think everyone carries cash? Stupid hotel.

I’ve stayed here more than five times, and it’ll remain one of my top hotel choices. It’s partly apartments and partly a hotel, but that doesn’t disrupt hotel operations since the apartments are accessed from the back. The location on the main road feels safe and is pretty good. Outside noise is acceptable, and the club across the way is some distance off. Parking is covered. The staff on both day and night shifts are well trained, polite, and serve with a smile and a very good attitude. They’re better than staff at some four- or five-star hotels. This is by far the best three-star hotel I’ve stayed in. Rates are higher on weekends and holiday eves, as with other hotels, so that can’t really be helped. Thumbs up to the reception staff and crew.
