I Stay Hotel

Rooms have simple amenities and were kept clean. The lobby is on the first floor, with rooms on the second and third, so it may be difficult for guests with physical disabilities to access. There’s a supermarket below and various shops nearby. It’s a clean, appealing budget hotel in a busy hub, with rates starting at RM45 depending on room type.

The front desk greeted us warmly, and parking was easy. The shower had a lovely strong pour. Our family room with two queen beds was quite small, though. There was only enough space to solat by the front door, where all the shoes were already placed.

The room was clean and spacious for the price, and it was nice to have Japanese broadcasts on the TV. Staff were friendly and very supportive. This was my second stay, and it’s been comfortable again so far.

The room had one queen and one single bed. Neither had a strange smell, and there was no cigarette odor. They had a water machine with hot water, plus cup noodles and snacks for sale. The TV was tiny, and there was just one power socket in the whole room for charging a phone and the TV. The toilet was old. I found one dead larva on the bed, and the mattress was old enough that I could really feel the springs, even though I weigh only 46kg.
