10/10
Parking was convenient and easy to access, a big plus for anyone arriving by car. I also liked the hotel’s calm, elegant lobby and its thoughtful design. The bedsheets were fresh and spotless, and the room was neat, hygienic, and well maintained, which gave me peace of mind and made it easy to rest. What really stood out at Midori Hotel JB was the staff. From check-in through check-out, everyone was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. It was a satisfying, comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it and be happy to return.

The digital room controls, without traditional buttons, gave the setup a modern and convenient feel. Midori Concept Hotel JB looked quite new, clean, and well cared for, and my room was bright, comfortable, and relaxing. The price felt affordable and worthwhile, with bottled water and a toothbrush among the basic amenities. A good fit for a business trip, short stay, or simple weekend in Johor Bahru. 4.5/5, clean, modern, comfortable, and good value.

There are plenty of shops outside to explore during the day, and it made for a great two-day trip. The hotel is more tucked into a corner of the Austin area, but we loved the cozy room. The headrest was nice for relaxing while watching TV, and the bathroom and towels were clean. The shower water was good, and the provided body wash was enough for me since I brought my own shampoo. I loved the lobby’s minimal decor and took lots of photos. If you check in early, there are plenty of parking spaces outside.

For a three-star hotel, it’s great value, with F&B places, jaya grocery, and Mr DIY within walking distance. The staff were friendly and the service was nice. The room was clean and came with a mini fridge, toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, shaver, slippers, and coffee and tea bags. Soundproofing wasn’t very good, and the air conditioning switched itself off early in the morning. Still, it was a great experience and good value for money.

The reception staff were patient, friendly, and helpful with our questions. Midori Concept hotel is in a quiet corner of the busy Austin district, but many amenities and restaurants are still within walking distance. The room was a reasonable size, clean, and had enough amenities, with clear effort put into its design. I found the stay comfortable and would recommend it. Looking forward to staying with them again.
