I was impressed by the breakfast team at Opero Hotel. The managers and waitstaff kept an eye on guests across the dining room and stepped in quickly when someone needed help. Their attentive service and care made a big difference to my stay, and it's a level of hospitality I haven't had at St. Giles. Hope they keep it up. The room lighting could be brighter, though. It felt dim for reading or working. I stayed at St. Giles on my last trip, but it was fully booked this time, so I chose Opero Hotel. I still prefer St. Giles for its walking distance to the mall, but my experience here was surprisingly impressive.

I was at Opero Hotel Southkey for work, and the clean, comfortable setting suited meetings and a short business visit. The buffet felt like good value for the price, with a decent range of dishes, and the staff were polite. The surau on level 4 was convenient and appreciated as a Muslim visitor. It was a pleasant stay, and I might come back.

This was my second stay at Opero hotel, and I finally tried the breakfast. The spread was amazing, and the photos really don't capture it. There were juice, egg, and coffee stations, plus prawns, sausages, beef, chicken, and ham. The food and service were outstanding, and I loved the atmosphere too. The hotel isn't in the center of JB, but the trip there has been well worth it for me. It's already one of my favorites, and breakfast is a must try.

Breakfast at the café yesterday morning was a lovely start to the day. Everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared, and the staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They were warm and attentive throughout. Thanks as well to the café manager, Mr Murthi, for the good leadership reflected in the food and service. I'll be glad to come back.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had, especially the freshly juiced fruits and vegetables. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I stayed three nights at Opero Hotel for work. It isn't near JB central, but it was perfectly placed for my work trip, close to Midvalley Mall, one of Johor Bahru's biggest malls. They also have a free shuttle to and from the mall.
