Oyo 1228 R & R Motel

There's a lot around the motel, almost like a little town, with a bistro, burger stall, cafe, laundry, barber, car wash, and more. But eating in the room isn't allowed. The night staff were very friendly and helpful, while the day staff were rude, had no manners, and spoke badly about customers. The room and bathroom weren't cleaned properly, including the bathroom mirrors, and the drinking glasses were dirty. The water dispenser was empty, the roof leaked when it rained, the TV had no channels, and the Wi-Fi had no internet. Some rooms also had broken bathroom doors.

The room was quite spacious for a budget hotel, with a small toilet and bathroom, plus a TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. The Wi-Fi login details are on the light switch. I still think it's a good place to stay. Check-in had a technical snag because the hotel hadn't received confirmation from Agoda. I contacted Agoda and asked them to confirm my reservation with the hotel. It took about 30 minutes before we could check in.

The place was dirty. I can't tell if the towels and sheets get reused, just look at the photo. The toilet door was broken, the air conditioner didn't cool, and there was no bottled water or coffee.

The owner was friendly, and it's a family-run business. There's a car wash, restaurant, mini market, and more all in one place. JDT football club fan.
