We spent one night in a three-room apartment at Pinnacle Tower. The air con was noisy, and the shower head was badly installed and leaking enough to need replacing. Most of the kitchen utensils weren't clean, and some were rusty. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed two nights in a dated but pleasant and safe building, in a 34th-floor apartment with three rooms for two people each. It cost SGD220 in total. One room had an ensuite bathroom, and there was also a common bathroom, a roomy living and dining area, and a kitchenette. The location was convenient, so I'd consider it again for modest accommodation.
Such a good place to enjoy yourself, and there are lots of girls here.
The pool was in awful shape, with rubbish, cigarette butts, bird droppings and other things floating around. It smelled strongly of algae, and there were no deck chairs or proper spots for our things. We left them on the floor and later found ants crawling over them. The apartment itself wasn't clean either. The floor was visibly dirty when we arrived, and the mop and pail were bone dry. I had to clean it myself twice before it felt livable. The kitchen sink was clogged from day one. Someone came to look at it, but said they weren't a trained plumber, and it kept draining slowly for the rest of our stay. The building and compound looked neglected, with algae on the walls, fallen tiles, broken roofs and litter. It seemed like no one had cleaned or repaired the place in years. At SGD120 a night, the conditions were way below what we expected. Noise was another problem. The upstairs resident dragged furniture and ran around every night from about 11:30 PM, sometimes until 2:30 AM. The host reported it to management quickly, but I was told I had to report it to the security guardhouse myself each time it happened. A lot of the foreign women we saw in the lobby and elevators were scantily clad, so the place didn't feel suitable for families. The host did respond to our complaints and act where possible, but only after problems came up. There was no check-in during the stay to ask if we needed anything else. Then we got a WhatsApp message asking us not to leave a rating under 5 stars so they could protect their superhost status. That felt inappropriate and unprofessional. We won't be back. Pinnacle Tower fell short on cleanliness, upkeep, amenities and hospitality, and I wouldn't recommend it, especially to families looking for a comfortable, safe stay.
The location is handy for amenities, with secure card access and a good parking spot. The apartment is spacious and has a nice balcony. The bathrooms really need a deep clean and refurbishment, though. Also, my brother found a piece of underwear on his bed in the other room in the morning. It wasn't his, which was a strange thing to find.
