Ritzton Hotel

The location is really good, 10/10. The room itself needs attention, though. There were insects on the walls and dirty marks on the bedsheet, and the room was very small. The bathroom was okay and pretty clean.

The mattress has almost no support and feels much too soft. The room is cramped, and the toilet is small with no shower door. The TV was broken, and the walls let through footsteps from people walking past. The air conditioner had visible dust and took a long time to cool the room. The pillow, bedsheets, and towel were stained or dusty, and using them left me itchy. There was no USB charger or universal socket.

We couldn't put up with the blanket smell, so we ended up buying a new one outside. When we asked reception for a replacement, they said, “we don’t have any new blanket”. The room phone didn't work, so we had to go down in person. What hotel has no spare blankets? The lobby looked grand and fancy, but inside our room there were water stains everywhere, yellowish pillowcases, and a damp, confined smell. The floor was dusty enough that we wore shoes indoors. The shower water kept changing between hot and cold, and there wasn't enough hot water. Paying this much a night was totally not worth it. The place felt like rubbish, so stay away unless location is the only thing you care about.

The ventilation and soundproofing aren't very good. I got the impression this place is used for special services. I'm not going back.
