Arina Hotel at Bangi

The room was dusty, the water ran slowly, and there were lots of little cockroaches crawling around. The mattress was curved, and the toilet ceiling looked close to falling in. The location is strategic, but I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want a pleasant night.

After work, I checked in at night and found a room with a mattress so badly misshapen that the springs stuck out and it was impossible to sleep on. The hotel said it was fully booked when I asked to switch rooms, then told me to call booking.com to cancel. Staff assured me verbally that I could cancel and get a refund, so I left and booked somewhere nearby. An hour later, I got an email saying my request had been rejected. Is this some kind of scam?

The family room had two queen beds and met my expectations. The location is good. For what you pay, you can't ask for more.

The room was filthy, the floor was broken and unsafe to walk on, and the bed was so old it felt like iron was pressing into my back. The receptionist, Sami, was terrible and practically nonexistent. When I called, he came over and almost kicked me out and hit me because I arrived at night and disturbed him. This is a prison, not a hostel.
