I needed some quiet and nature during our four-night stay, and found both here. Everyone was kind to us, from the staff to Willis. Keep it up! A couple of tips: if you plan to get around a lot, renting a car or bike is worth it. Damai golf course is less than 5 mins away by car, for golfers.

The jungle surrounds you here, and we really enjoyed the peaceful setting over our two nights. It makes a great base for exploring the Santubong peninsula and the river mouth. At Nanga Damai Homestay, it truly feels like home, with friendly staff who are incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the villa so much that we stayed a few extra nights. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and tidy. I’d recommend this homestay.

This was my second visit, and I’m already looking forward to a third. The homestay is a tropical paradise, one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen. The two young new owners are sweet and helpful, carrying on the previous owners’ legacy. They gave us great dinner recommendations and even drove us to dinner and hiking spots. The rainforest activities add a fun bit of adventure. I highly recommend the 3hr hike to the blue pool. Big thanks to Willis, Emily, and the rest of the staff! 😁

We spent three nights at Nanga Damai Homestay, surrounded by untamed jungle. The place was enchanting and absolutely beautiful. Emily and Wills welcomed us so warmly. Their genuine hospitality and friendliness are rare, and they’re fantastic people. The staff were just as lovely, always smiling, courteous, and willing to help with anything. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with breathtaking views across the jungle to the sea. We also loved the homemade breakfast, especially the amazing jams, and the pool. The location is perfect. If you want to feel at home in nature at a beautiful family-run property, I highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back!
