Lilla Rainforest Retreat @ Hulu Langat

The one thing that bothered me was the lighting at night: some lights didn’t work, and others kept shifting from bright to dim. Apart from that, Hulu Langat was a lovely break from the city, with fresh air, lots of greenery, a clean river, and a peaceful, private feel.

There was a bit of a damp smell in the room. Most of the facilities also need attention, especially damaged appliances like the TV, air conditioner, and heater, which should be serviced or replaced.

The staff made us feel welcome with their friendly, attentive manner, and the resort was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were well kept. Set among lush greenery, with fresh air and the calming sound of the river, Lilla Rainforest Resort in Hulu Langat felt like a real break from city life. I’d recommend it to couples, families, solo travelers, and anyone who enjoys nature. I’d love to return.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room fit two petite adults and three kids just fine. The kids enjoyed the stream, which was shallow enough for them to play in. We rented the resort’s large BBQ pit for RM50, charcoal included, and ate under a tent by the stream at night. It was a cozy, refreshing place with lovely scenery. I forgot to take room photos, but I’d definitely come back.
