OYO 1102 Amani Hotel

There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, so finding food isn't a problem. The hotel also has separate surau for men and women, plus a seminar room that can be used for different functions. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious for the price. I'd recommend it over the other budget hotels around here.

The deluxe room was tiny, and the wire cover was exposed. It wasn't very clean either. There was hair stuck to the bed and pillow sheets, which didn't seem to have been changed. My skin got itchy after lying down for just a minute, so if you have skin problems, maybe don't stay here. That's all.

I stayed in room 217, a standard single without a window, from 1-2 June 2019. The staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and I could ask nicely for extra towels or a pillow at no charge. There are lots of local eateries close by, municipal parking is ample but requires paid coupons, and there's a water filter on every floor. My OYO rate was extremely low, and the AC worked. Wi-Fi was fast, though sometimes bumpy. No deposit was required, and the room facilities were just okay. The room was only about three steps by six steps by my manual measurement, and the bed was so large I couldn't open the door all the way. The facilities were old, the toilet not very clean, and the pillowcase looked very old and rusty. The TV had just one channel, and noise came through the room. It was still comfortable enough because of the low rate and helpful staff. Would I return? Maybe, even at that price, but probably not. I'm 50/50.

It's a clean, comfortable budget hotel, and the staff are nice. Parking was easy, and there are food and drink shops nearby, which is handy if you check in late. Seems worth a stay whether you're traveling alone or with family.
