Crown Garden Hotel

Parking was easy and the location worked well, close to Pasar Khadijah and 7-Eleven. Still, the room was small for what I paid, and I wouldn’t stay again. It smelled unpleasant, the furniture looked old and poorly cared for, and there was a leak above the hand sink in the toilet that made the bathroom uncomfortable to use. They didn’t provide basic items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or hotel slippers.

I stayed three nights and loved the breakfast. There was a different main each morning, including nasi lemak, mee goreng, spaghetti, nasi goreng, chicken tender or fried chicken, plus nuggets, half boiled eggs, cereal, and plenty more. The bathroom was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the China Town location has lots of eateries nearby. Don’t forget to book breakfast. I’ll be back!

We were disappointed with the service and basic amenities at Crown Garden Hotel. The breakfast coffee was very watered down. We booked two twin rooms and one double room, but each came with just one key, which was a real hassle when someone wanted to stay in while another went out. The staff said no extra keys were available, and the counter team didn’t seem helpful or flexible. At the shower there was only 2-in-1 shampoo. No hand soap, toothbrush, or toothpaste was provided in the room. When we asked at the counter, we were told to buy toothbrushes and toothpaste at a nearby 7-Eleven. Then another staff member brought them to our room the next morning, which was confusing and inconsistent.

I was there for a meeting. The room was small but decent, and cleanliness was okay. It was fairly quiet and close to the city centre.
