I barely needed to leave the building during my 5.5 days there. I used the pool almost every day, and the shops on the first floor were handy. Petronas Tower center is a 10-15 minute walk away, while Chinatown is about 20 minutes on foot. The LRT station is four minutes away and goes to KL Sentral, with Chinatown costing MR 1.2 and KL Sentral MR 2. The place was very clean, with a comfortable bed and privacy curtains. There’s a kitchen, Netflix, and a maximum of six guests. Don’t be put off by the manager’s serious, expressionless face. He and the other Bangali staff were really nice and accommodating. By luck, I shared the place with five other very cool guys.

The apartment is spacious and equipped well, and the location is good. But the bedroom window lets in much more noise than the living room window, which made it hard to sleep. Cleaning also needs improvement. The apartment didn’t seem to be cleaned properly, the windows looked like they might only get washed once a month, and the cabinets were dirty inside. Our toilet paper was soaked with water and hadn’t been replaced. At check-in, the person seemed ready to send us off on our own without checking the property with us. The building is huge, so it wasn’t clear how we were supposed to find our way. A bit more attention to service and cleaning would help.

For non-smokers, the atmosphere in the apartment is choking, and there are ants literally everywhere. The service was ZERO, not professional at all. They contacted us at midnight the day before and asked us to cancel, which I wish we had done, but we refused because we were already there. Then, when we arrived, we waited almost 20 minutes for them to show up. Disappointing!!!
