My sister had her wedding there, and they offered us discounted rooms as another option. I was surprised that every room had a hair dryer and an iron with an ironing board. The bathroom tiles were clean, and all the toiletries were provided.

I’d known this hotel since I was young and always thought of it as old, so I was surprised the facilities were quite complete. Even in a superior twin room, I had the basic necessities, plus a hair dryer and clothes iron. They supplied more than just soap and shampoo, and the room was comfortable and spacious. The price was reasonable too.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning, water pressure, and surprisingly strong WiFi were all good too. We stayed here more than 20 years ago, so it was nice to see some effort put into updating the rooms. We do want to come back, but housekeeping needs to do a much better job. A small piece of rubbish left by an earlier guest stayed in the same spot for our whole stay, even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom air vent could use replacing as well. The lift feels quite cramped, and parking was difficult on both nights because weddings were taking place. Noise from loud guests carried badly through the corridors and spoiled the soundproofing.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, from reception and the cashier to housekeeping and the event crew. Thanks for making our stay feel special. We booked a cosy, comfortable Standard Twin Room for RM150.00 a night. Breakfast was just average, though you can order it for RM15.00. If sunrise and sunset views from your room matter to you, try for a higher floor.
