Century Inn Hotel

Room 201 faced the front, and I could open the window. It was quiet at night apart from some traffic from the nearby main road. A few places to eat breakfast or lunch are within walking distance, though dinner means walking farther or driving. Daytime parking needs a coupon, RM4 for a full day. The room was clean and pleasant. The bed was close to the wall, leaving more floor space for prayer or exercise. There was timber flooring in the bedroom, with tiles only at the entrance and bathroom. Furnishings included a dressing table and chair, a cupboard with hangers, a rack over the toilet cistern, and plenty of drawers at the bedside and dressing tables. The bathroom had both an overhead and hand shower, and towels were supplied, but no toiletries. There was also a kettle with coffee, two cups and saucers, and teaspoons. Three lights served the room: at the headboard, in the ceiling, and a downlight.

Restaurants surround the place, so finding food is easy. The room was great, very clean, and fairly priced. Definitely worth it.

Great budget hotel overall, but I'm taking off two stars because the smoke smell was so heavy. Damn, that detector might as well have been for show.

The staff were friendly and there was lots of parking, but I could hardly sleep with my room facing the noisy main road. It also felt old: the sheets smelled damp, the tap had low water pressure, and there was a water mark on the ceiling above the bed. Wallpaper was peeling and the wardrobe was dusty inside.
