The room was very big, and both the floor and the pillow and bedsheet were clean. There’s no TV or wardrobe, and the walls are a bit thin, so I could hear the next room. The double bed came with two towels and soap, and the washroom had a water heater and plenty of space. Check-in took a long time, but I was okay with it. The registration counter is upstairs, so you have to climb stairs. I booked through trip.com.

I checked in at 11:30 pm and was still awake at 6:01 am because the room was unbearably hot. The air conditioner wasn’t working. The receptionist told me it was centralised and couldn’t be controlled by the remote, so why was there an aircon remote in the room? I was sweating all night, with mosquitoes everywhere. The receptionist was rude and kept talking on the phone. I’ve never been treated like this before. I want a refund!

I’d already booked a room that morning, but when I arrived the workers said I didn’t have one. They’d given it to five Indians. After an argument, those five moved out, and I was told to take that room. I’ve never had an experience like this. It wasn’t even worth one star.

For RM63, I got a room with one double bed and one single bed, so the price was pretty reasonable. The stay hasn’t been all that pleasant, though. This hotel really needs to improve its customer service.

I paid for a booking through Agoda, but management cancelled it without telling me or giving a reason. Be careful before booking, you could end up with nowhere to sleep.
