Azra Inn by OYO Rooms

For under $100, I’d recommend it. Parking is easy, and there’s a security door lock at the main hotel entrance, with a regular key for the room. The room was clean and tidy, and the utilities worked well. I was busy with an appointment, so I didn’t watch TV. I arrived about seven hours before check-in for a one-night stay, and the owner only charged half, which seemed fair. My only concern is that you can hear what people in other rooms are saying or doing, so some soundproofing would help. I’d suggest walking in instead of making a reservation. At $20? Meh, even homestays are $50-plus, so don’t be stupid, guys.

I booked through Agoda because the hotel was listed as available, but when I arrived late at night with my small children, the door was locked and I couldn’t find the owner. When I called her, she said all the rooms were full and told us to get a refund from Agoda. We had a room booked in advance, yet it was fully booked. No other hotels were showing on the listing either, which made it seem like everything was full. What went wrong with the system?

Be careful, you might be charged extra when you arrive. There may also be a wait outside because there’s no receptionist. The place itself is okay.
