By midnight, we were done. We spotted one cockroach and then found more under the bed, by the seat, in the kitchen, and coming from the curtains. We left in the middle of the night and checked into another hotel. Before that, the first room had a dirty-looking toilet and murky water pooled a little in the sink. Its door could only be locked from inside, so we couldn't secure it when going out. We asked to change rooms, but the next one still had a dirty toilet, and the shower only ran cold. Switching to hot gave us no water at all. The bed was noisy too, and the room seemed in poor condition.

I booked two nights through agoda, but cancelled as soon as I checked in and found somewhere else to stay. The owner offered another room, but it was in the same condition. The room was dirty and smelly, with ants and a cockroach. The toilet door lock was broken and had been replaced with a chopstick, and the sink pipe kept dripping. It was a studio turned into a family room, so sleeping with water dripping all night would have been a problem. The room and toilet were both dirty and clearly not maintained as a commercial unit.

The place is poorly maintained and feels too dangerous to stay in. Please don't book it.

The room was dirty and smelled bad, the air conditioning didn't work, and there was no Wi-Fi. It wasn't as promised and clearly wasn't well maintained. The price felt reasonable for the state of the room, but I regretted booking four days and three nights. I won't stay here again. If you're visiting kota bharu, find somewhere else, not this pkace.
