The receptionist asked me for RM 2 as a tourism fee, but I couldn’t find any notice about it. I’d booked Thai Flora Place Hotel because I needed a car park. When I asked where the site car park was, reception said it was full, so I had to find street parking and pay for it myself. Really poor service. The room floor was so dusty and dirty that my feet turned black as soon as I stepped inside. I told them, but they insisted the housekeeper had cleaned it. The toilet bowl also wouldn’t flush properly. They should update Agoda or Booking.com, because they told me four adults couldn’t stay in the Family room and that we needed an extra bed, even though the listing said it accommodated four adults. They also said I couldn’t have a fourth bottle of mineral water or a fourth towel. What the hell? There was a lot of noise around the hotel at night, especially from about 11pm, with motorcycles revving loudly. My son really disliked this hotel. We won’t stay here again.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and the location was convenient. The rooms are decent, with clean, nicely provided bed sheets, towels, and pillow covers. But the toilets are in poor condition. It used to be a nice hotel, though the maintenance now falls short.

The staff were very friendly. It rained for many days during my stay, and they lent me an umbrella whenever I went out. The location was handy too, close to Siti Khadijah Market and lots of places to eat. Excellent and very affordable.

We had a nice stay. The hotel has secure private parking and is close to Kota Bharu attractions such as Pasar Siti Khadijah. The front desk staff were welcoming, and you can get a good room at an affordable price.

We weren’t staying at the hotel, but the people there were so kind and helpful. After we’d waited more than 30 minutes for a taxi with no luck, we spotted Flora Place. The girl at reception booked a taxi for us and let us wait inside. Very good people!
