The host was friendly, and the family room with three queen beds was affordable. The facilities were very basic: there was no kettle, hot shower, shower head, or hooks for clothes, and the toilet was a squat one. Stains and mold on the ceiling looked like they came from deteriorated waterproofing.
I paid in full through online banking and went to check in, but the owner wouldn't let me stay because of a dispute with OYO management. The owner said the hotel wasn't under OYO, even though I'd booked through the app. I understand cancellation policies, but I paid for nothing after making the trip there. After seeing the other comments, I wouldn't book this place online. Don't waste your money, time, or energy. I don't know what the issue is, but it feels like you could get scammed.
The owner was okay, and the room was big with green walls. But there was no water heater, TV, Wi-Fi, towel, or soap. If you've got a small child, look for somewhere else. That's it.
I paid for the booking in full, but there was no hotel at the address I was given. If the full amount and my travel costs aren't refunded, I'll take legal action.
The room was comfortable for my family, and the price was quite low. A decent affordable option if you're visiting Kelantan and need a place to stay.
