For over RM 200 a night for a room with two single beds, I expected the facilities to work. The television, bedside lamp and bathroom water heater were all out of order. The room was reasonably clean, though there’s still room to improve. I wasn’t satisfied with the stay and wouldn’t recommend the hotel. Please improve the service.

The parking is privately owned by the hotel, not designated by the Municipal Council, so I don’t think guests should be charged a Municipal Council fee. We’re Malaysian citizens, and during public holidays parking should be free for people staying at the OYO hotel. Other hotels offer free parking and don’t add this charge. Also, the room we got differed a lot from the one shown in the booking pictures.

Parking is good and it’s easy to get into town. But our room had no water supply. If there’s an interruption, the hotel should have a backup plan or refund part of the amount, since we paid for the full service. Customer service was poor too, with no solution offered when we complained.

There’s no Internet, but the rooms are cheap. Food places and shopping centres are fairly close, and the very large main shopping centre is a short taxi ride away. Just avoid taking a taxi at peak hour, or the Grab ride can take a long time.

The photos are misleading about how old the room is. The toilet sink was blocked, there was a frog in the toilet, and the pillow was dirty under its cover. The place is very poorly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend it.
