The woman at the counter was always kind, and Kota Bharu has been one of the nicest places I've stayed so far. I spent 10 days here because it was the most affordable option. The AC worked, and I had my own bathroom and a queen bed. It's not the cleanest or most comfortable hotel, but I enjoyed my stay and it was good enough for what it is. Hotel Suri makes sense if you want a low price and your own room. Just keep the main road noise in mind.

The room felt pretty hot, and the AC filter was so dusty I had to wash it myself. They hadn't provided the Wi-Fi password anywhere, either.

For a low price, you get a clean room with air conditioning and an attached bathroom.
