A good value accommodation choice in Kota Bharu. It’s a high-rise apartment with good parking, and you can go straight from the parking area to your unit.

The access setup takes a little getting used to: your pass card only lets you reach your own floor, and at the room door you have to keep the keycard against the lock until it clicks. The room itself is nicely designed, with a great view over the Kelantan river from the 29th floor. There’s just one bathroom.

The lift situation was the main drawback. There are only two for a 35-storey apartment, and one was out of order for a night, so we had to take the stairs. The other lift is for permanent residents, which should be changed, especially at busy times. The room was superb and clean, and thanks to the owner for a three-day, two-night stay.

A comfortable place to stay, and the price felt fairer than a hotel room. It’s right across from hotel Perdana kota baharu.
