Salaam Suites Hotel

My group of 44, including the driver, stayed at this hotel today. Overall, things were good. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety for both adults and kids, and all the staff were friendly.

The staff were very nice, and the outside decorations looked good. The location is handy, near places to eat, and breakfast is included, though it’s a basic spread. They offer washer and dryer service for free, but parking is very limited. Inside, the rooms need a major upgrade, especially the beds and mattresses. We found cockroaches as soon as we entered, and there were stains on the toilet walls. They provide shower gel but no shampoo. The washer and dryer on the second floor make quite a bit of noise, and the lift is extremely slow.

The room smelled of mold, as if it had just been painted over without proper care. There’s no ventilation from the shower, so I expect the problem to get worse. I’d advise against sleeping here because breathing paint fumes or mold spores isn’t healthy. Please add proper ventilation to the shower area for your guests.

We held an event here and had a great experience. The seminar room was excellent, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped for meetings or events. The pantry is small, but organized and stocked with what we needed. Having a washing machine and dryer was really convenient, so we didn’t have to go looking for a laundry bar. The staff were all friendly and dependable, and they made sure to prioritize and meet our needs.
