3-Plus Hotel

The room was quiet and comfortable, and felt worth the price. I’ve booked this hotel twice on holiday trips now, and both stays were enjoyable. The staff member who handled my check-in and check-out knew her stuff, which I appreciated.

The front desk staff were helpful, and the room rate was very reasonable. It matched what was advertised, which isn’t always the case in Malaysia. Late checkout is available for a fee.

The stay was pleasant apart from the pillow. The one in my room was so hard that I couldn’t sleep comfortably, which was disappointing. When I asked for another, I was told there’d be a charge. I don’t think guests should have to pay for an extra pillow. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and good.

At checkout they accused us of smoking in the room and wanted to charge a penalty. None of us smoke, and there was no basis for the accusation. During our two nights there, we also saw cockroaches outside our room and in the bathroom. The room was average, the toilet floor felt sticky as if it hadn’t been washed properly, and the bedsheet covers were stained with hair on them. It was a terrible first stay, not worth the money, and could easily be the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Stay far away.
