For a low-cost room, it was roomy and pretty comfortable.

Borneo Inn Homestay was an affordable option and good value for money. The basic amenities were satisfactory and made for a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It doesn’t have all the luxury extras, but it covered what I needed without costing too much. If you’re after an inexpensive place with the essentials, it’s worth considering.

The room was clean and everything seemed good at first. We asked to extend our stay by one night, and reception said we could since the room was available for the next day. Then they suddenly called to say they wanted to refund the extra night’s payment. I asked why they hadn’t told us earlier. I felt this was their mistake, since they hadn’t informed the staff in time, but they said it wasn’t their fault because the staff member was new and didn’t know how to check the booking.

The room is good and clean so far, with hot enough water from the heater and decent water pressure. The only downside is the noise, the sound insulation isn’t good.
