The air conditioning was strong, and Burger King is just around the corner. Getting a ride was easy too, with so many people coming through the buildings. The rest of the room was a strange experience. There was a big empty space in front of the TV, maybe somewhere for kids to run around, and an empty storage or service room beside the door with a fire extinguisher. I was travelling alone and found that room creepy. The towels had leftover hair gel or cologne from previous male guests. Hot water was almost nonexistent: even after turning two knobs, only a small stream came out. The toilet was just a step away from the wall. Check-in was with someone who appeared without telling me they’d arrived. I’d forgotten about the cash deposit, but they accepted whatever I could offer, which I appreciated. Checkout was odd too. You contact them by phone or Whatsapp, then they come and inspect the room while you’re still there. Very strange and surreal.

The hotel is in a great spot, next to a night market and just a few minutes from a mall. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and fast WI-FI that came in handy for work. Check-in went smoothly, with someone coming to greet us when we arrived. The elevators were a little slow at peak times. Still, we had a wonderful short getaway and felt it was excellent value. We’d happily stay again.

The view was awesome, and the facilities were good. The lift was convenient too, since there was no need to use a keycard. With the Night market and commercial area nearby, the location made it easy to explore and enjoy the surroundings. I had a pleasant stay.

The location made it easy to walk to food and malls around the city, and I found the stay good overall. My unit was spacious and worth what I paid. It’s an Airbnb-style operation, not a hotel, with basic amenities, towels, a floor mat, swimming pool access, and paid parking in the building. That worked for me, though people may have different expectations. There’s no Front Desk counter, but a staff member met and greeted me in the lobby. I felt secure with that arrangement and preferred it to getting keys from a mailbox using a code. There is a reception counter shared by different operators, with someone on standby. They were easy to reach by call or WhatsApp, and check-in was hassle-free. The RM150 cash deposit was refunded at checkout. The lift can be very slow at certain times. They’ll store luggage for RM10/hour, with no limit on how much luggage you have. I thought that was cheap compared with the chocolate shop downstairs, which charges RM5 per bag.

During my one-night stay, checking in on 27/09, everything has been wonderful so far. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
