Hotel Eden54

Eden 54 Boutique Hotel was a safe, clean place to spend my 24 hours in KK, and at rm138 the central location was convenient. Service was great, and Ms Ling Ling was available to help. The room felt a bit dated, but for the price, cleanliness and location, I'd stay here again. Tong Hing Supermarket is right next door. Beside the Eden54 entrance, a shop sells CUT local fruit, whole fruit and juice. Suria Mall is a three-minute walk around the corner, and HSBC Bank is two minutes away. Gaya St is about five minutes away if you mean the tail end, or ten minutes to the beginning end. From my window I saw the back wall of Hyatt KK Centric Hotel. Grab from KKIA cost rm12 at 1.53pm. I went to Sunset Stand Up Paddle (SUP) at Tanjung Aru with Borneo Paddle Monkeys; the Grab there was rm9 at 3.50pm and the return was rm21 at 6.38pm in the rain. Before my flight I went to Kokol Hillside for the best view in town. I didn't rent a car because time was limited. If you do, you'll need to Street Park and pay, probably rm1-2 an hour. Peak hours take patience, though alternatives can be found. Give a thumbs up if this post resonates with you. 🙏

The service is why I gave this hotel five stars. Everyone was friendly, especially Ling Ling, who was polite and welcoming. It's reasonably priced for a budget hotel, with adequate amenities. I stayed one night and may stay longer on a future trip. The room was small and nothing special. Mine had a window, but the view wasn't interesting. Shower pressure was weak but acceptable, and the TV was small. Guests can use a computer, and printing is available for a small charge. The hotel is on the first floor, with no lift or escalator. If you have a lot of luggage, staff can help carry it.
