I was really disappointed with the mee goreng I ordered at rosewod bistro level 2 ming garden hotel. As you can see in my attachedment photo, the squid and prawns smelled bad, and the fish was carelessly cooked. The noodles were very hard, oily, and served cold. Just looking at the dish, it seemed like little care had gone into making it, and I couldn't keep eating it. When I raised the problem, the cahsier said it had been prepared by a PARTIME worker. For a 4 star hotel, that's unacceptable. Customers expect a certain food standard, even when the hotel is busy. I understand there was a weeding event and the kitchen may have been under pressure, but if the hotel can't maintain quality, it should stop taking orders or be honest with customers instead of serving poorly prepared meals. RM 30 for a plate of mee goreng that poor was unreasonable, and the proce didn't match the quality. Food from a simple warung or mamak stall would be much better than this. The hotel was NOT SINCERE! I strongly urge management to take this seriously because it could hurt the hotel's reputation. I don't think I'll return to eat here, and I would NEVER INTRODUCE it to my FAMILY or FRIEND. The cashier offered to have the dish cooked again when I complained, but I'd already lost confidence in the food quality and declined. Even though I only took one spoonful to taste before leaving, I was still charged RM30. That's very unfair and unreasonable. Is that the proper way to handle this?

Mohd Fazali at the check-in counter was friendly, understanding, and attentive to what we needed as a family. Since we were mainly there on holiday with the children to use the swimming pool, he kindly arranged a room near it. Staying in Room 591 made things easier and more convenient for us. We had a wonderful stay, and his thoughtful service made the family trip more enjoyable. Thank you, Mohd Fazali!

I'm in the apartment now, and it's spacious, very comfortable, clean, and has a luxurious touch. The airconds work perfectly, my elderly parents love it, and the price is cheap. It also has a small balcony. The lifts are limited, so the wait can be a bit long. The location isn't very strategic for convenience stores, since you need to drive about 5 mins to reach one. There's no washing machine, even though the app said there was. I'd still recommend the apartment. We can use grab to get around and grabfood for meals, and just plan groceries in one trip. In december, keep the lift issue in mind, since many bruneian may go shopping in KK and it could get crowded.

The room was great, though the tv channel selection was limited and the picture wasn't clear. We didn't really need it, though. The swimming pool is on floor 4, but we went to another beach, and the breakfast buffet is on floor 2.

It was the friendly staff and unbeatable price that made the night manageable. I booked last minute for an ad-hoc trip, then read those famous ghost stories online after confirming. Too late to cancel! 😅 I arrived at 11 PM feeling paranoid and asked for a room near the elevator so I wouldn't have to deal with long, scary hallways. The staff were understanding and put me on Level 4, near the swimming pool and gym. The room was very spacious but had an old school feel, which did nothing for my imagination, and I had a hard time sleeping. In the morning I saw it was just across from Imago Mall, but getting there on foot means crossing a flyover and going through Kampung Air, which felt a bit sketchy and dangerous. If you're on a budget, the price and helpful staff make it worth considering. Maybe take a Grab instead of walking.
