OYO 89345 Api-Api GH

The room was clean and the WiFi worked, but it was small, had no window, and came without a kettle or hairdryer. I could get a better price and facilities at OYO. I booked a Standard King Room on Agoda for RM54, then at check-in the woman said I had to pay another RM31, because she was charging RM85 for the room. There was also a RM100 cash deposit, supposedly refundable only if the sheets weren’t stained by soda and the toilet wasn’t blocked by sanitary pads. I cancelled the second night, which I hadn’t paid for. Agoda wouldn’t let me submit a review, so I’m posting here to warn people about the extra charge. At checkout, she returned my deposit without asking housekeeping to check the sheets or toilet, so all that intimidation was just talk. She also warned me I’d have been charged more if I checked out a few minutes later. Who needs that? No second time for me.
