The owner even has a punch bag for Muay Thai training, so feel free to ask if you want to show off some skills. The apartment is spacious, lovely and newly renovated, with clean, well-kept rooms. It works well as a retreat for families or solo travelers. This was my second visit to Kota Kinabalu, and I had a nice stay at Pat's Place. The family who run the apartment were welcoming and helpful. I’d definitely recommend both the accommodation and the host.

The host family were really friendly and shared helpful local travel tips. The place is easy to get to and very close to KK City, yet it was quiet, clean and pristine. I’d come back on a future trip!
