It’s an old, unkempt hotel, and the shower heater doesn’t work. The TV has no signal either. They should take better care of the amenities, since the hotel could still make a profit despite being old.

We only stayed one night, but it was a great short break. Check-in went smoothly and the staff were friendly. The resort is a little secluded, though there are places to eat a few minutes away by car. The room had some dust and sand, understandable so near the beach. They were upgrading the landscaping while we were there, but it didn’t bother us.

The beach is just a two-minute walk through the back entrance. My chalet-style room had two queen beds, and the Daikin air conditioning in room 105 was already on before check-in. The room was comfortable. The open-air shower, with no roof, is a special feature. There’s a Bali feel alongside Malay village heritage, plus a newer block by the pool.

The beach view made me feel calm, and the room was comfortable too. Such a beautiful resort, I’d come back.
