Pz Hotel

We only needed the fan, and the room stayed cool even though it was at the far end of the floor on the sunset side. There’s a fan as well as air conditioning. It’s a small, comfortable hotel, spotlessly clean, with a spacious bathroom and a nice shower. The TV had enough channels to keep my kids entertained, and eateries are an easy walk away. My kids especially liked moyap 👍👍

I was a bit disappointed, especially after staying in hotels a lot for work, but I still enjoyed the views. The room was clean enough, though it felt too small, and at RM300 for two nights I didn’t think it was worth the price. I was there for business, so I didn’t mind too much. The woman who welcomed us at check-in was humble and kind, and none of these comments are about her. Our room was right beside the lobby, so we could hear everything outside: maintenance, staff talking, and loud guests. They could have put us farther from the front to give guests at least a little privacy. The kiblat arrow pointed toward the window, but there was hardly any room to pray. The TV listing said Astro, but there was no signal, just a blue screen. Both the fan and air conditioning were very loud, even on quiet mode, and the fan made a lot of noise when switched on. It also took about 10 minutes for the water heater to produce hot water. There was no toothbrush or other toiletries beyond the body wash and shampoo in one, as shown in the picture. The water was off for around 30 minutes, and nobody told me. I understand this is a small town, but in Ipoh town you can find a better hotel for this price. The toiletries at least need improving. I hope this is taken as advice from a guest, not negativity. Thanks for the stay.

I stayed in the family room for five, with two queen beds, on 27/7/23. The room was well maintained and the toilet was clean. The front office staff were cheerful and helpful. I’d strongly recommend it.

The area felt safe and clean, and the hotel itself was comfortable and clean for one or two people per room. It’s well placed near the road, with several food stalls just across the way serving tasty kampong dishes at fair prices and generous portions. This is a good budget hotel with a very good rate. I’d return if I go to Kuala Kangsar again. 😍😍
