The hotel is handy for getting around, across from the bus station, close to K. Lipis town, and with plenty of convenience stores nearby. I booked over the phone with reception, who checked Agoda and quoted the same price. There was no government servant rate, unfortunately. The room was spacious and clean, and service was quick and good. They messaged the booking details and checked my arrival time on check-in day. Breakfast was simple but enough for me. I stayed one night and would definitely return.

We came back for a second stay, a year after our first, and the place is still clean and well looked after. The food was pleasant too. I couldn't get hot water from the coway machine, and a staff member came over to help before I even asked. The receptionist was polite and friendly, and the staff were very helpful.

There was plenty of parking, and check-in was easy. The room was spacious, but the floor was dirty, so I called housekeeping. A rude housekeeping lady scolded me, and her remark really spoiled the stay.

For RM133 nett, I got a double room without a window and a simple but tasty breakfast, so it felt like good value. The room was quite spacious. A simple, nice and clean hotel. I'd definitely come back.

It's a modest three-star place, but they've kept it in good shape. I hope they keep maintaining it, since Lipis doesn't have enough good hotels.
