Comfort Service Apartment At Times Square

The only real plus for me was the working air conditioning and the mall location. The carpet smelled old, and the bathroom was dirty and smelly. The comforter and sheets had holes and stains, and the pillows were so old and thin it felt like lying on a piece of bread. Furniture looked dated too. The owner gave no clear directions for getting there or checking in. Not a good choice if hygiene, cleanliness, or comfort matter. Please improve.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and problems kept coming up. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, the toilet had issues, then on our second night it wouldn’t flush even though we’d asked staff to check everything at check-in. On the last night, after our meeting, the heater wasn’t working either. My flight was at 6:30 pm, so I checked out at 11 and asked if they could hold our luggage for an hour. The staff wouldn’t help. Unfriendly staff, poor service, bad facilities.

The location is great and the complex itself is impressive, so there’s some value here. The cash charge was higher than it should have been, though. The apartment and its dated decor may disappoint if you’re expecting fancy rooms, and the condition is a bit rough.

The view is about the only thing this room has going for it. It’s just so-so otherwise, and there’s no prepared parking. If you book through Booking.com or a bnb, some of the listed facilities can be misleading: there’s no balcony and no privacy. People from outside wait for the lifts and sometimes ride up to the floors without being guests.
