The room and general atmosphere were pleasant during my three nights in a studio at Regalia Residence. A few practical things caught me off guard. There aren't many power outlets, none close to the bed, and some chargers or plugs won't fit, so an adapter or extension lead would help. Staff also came into the room without knocking or letting me know, including at midnight to check whether I had checked out, even though every unit has a doorbell. I first booked two nights and then extended for a third. The same staff member charged me a different rate for that last day, which I hadn't expected. For the pool, keep in mind that proper swimwear is required; cotton T-shirts and trousers aren't allowed for men or women.

The building felt old and worn, and it looked nothing like the photos online. The condition was far below what I expected and felt misleading. Service was unhelpful from the beginning: after our room card got locked inside, they wouldn't give us a spare. We were told staff would have to come open the door each time, which was a hassle. Breakfast was poor too, with nothing tasting fresh. For what we paid, that was unacceptable. Bad food, unhelpful service, and dated facilities. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The Agoda listing looked perfect in its photos, but the actual studio was a letdown. It was dirty, the bathroom was in poor shape, and there was a strong unpleasant smell. There wasn't even a mirror, and it didn't feel like a proper studio. I felt misled by the advertising and was very disappointed. Agoda should make sure the pictures on its platform show the rooms as they really are. I wouldn't recommend this property.

The elevators were terrible, always packed, and I had to wait 20-30 minutes for one. Don't come here.

We paid extra for early check-in after arriving ahead of time, but the rude receptionist still wouldn't hand over the keys. He knew English but refused to speak it. There was no hot water in any of the washrooms, and one had no water at all. A plumber took three hours to fix that. The infinity pool was the main reason for choosing this place, but the guards refused to let us in over a little mist. The sheets and towels weren't very clean either. A disappointing stay. I'd use another flat in the same apartment instead of these terrible agents.
