For the price, the room was decent and good value. The staff really made the place, though. They were all so friendly and went out of their way to help, from giving us directions to going on a mission to print our boarding passes. There was also a water cooler in the lobby where we could refill our bottles, which was great.

There’s plenty of parking, and guests have a lounge on every floor. The hotel also has an outdoor kitchen, a hot and cold water dispenser, a mini toaster oven, a few exercise machines and a pool table. Room sizes vary, and our room had a fridge, a clean bathroom and a TV with movie channels. Housekeeping keeps things maintained. The staff, including the security guards, were friendly, polite, cheerful and helpful.

The room was big, but the furniture was old and some of it was torn. The carpet was old too, and while the bath towels were clean, some were worn. There’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up to the first or second level. The bikes also aren’t free, and I didn’t think it was worth the money. If you check out after 12, they charge 50 USD. I booked a room for three people through Agoda and arrived at 12 at night, but nobody was at reception. The security guy called the owner, who said he had applied for no night reservations on Agoda. We waited a long time before he finally gave us the key.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a good spot for a quick stay, with the necessary amenities, free hot water and WiFi, plus secure parking. The downtown area is about a 20-minute walk away.
