The location is superb, and service was good overall. My main concern was the room: it felt dated, and the carpeted floor seemed quite dusty. It was still acceptable, but the showerhead and tap were dirty and need better maintenance. A proper bidet nozzle would also be much better.

My customers all left happy after our Iftar at Grand Dorsett Kuala Lumpur, so I’d recommend it for group or corporate gatherings. The food was simple and delicious, with nothing to complain about. The F&B staff were helpful, attentive and very efficient, and everything went smoothly from beginning to end.

The breakfast spread had a great selection, and the coffee was good. The juices could be better, though Shereen at the breakfast front desk and the floor staff were friendly and helpful. Our room faced another block, so the view wasn’t great. The interior could use a little updating, too. It may be worth asking whether a room with a better view is available. Good value for a short stay.

I’m glad we ended up at Dorsett after problems and rude staff at the hotel we’d originally booked. The front desk team here were all so kind and helpful, especially the man who checked us in, though I didn’t catch his name. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and Niza was lovely and helpful to me and my kids every morning. It was also handy to have laundry service, although it was a bit pricey. At least the cost was clearly listed on the form. Thanks to everyone at Dorsett for a great stay!
