E&O Residences Kuala Lumpur

The location is great, right in the heart of the city, and the room is big. But privacy was a problem because the blinds are see-through. The front desk was very poor and cold, especially rashard, who was so rude and seemed to think too much of himself. The security guards were the only nice people. There were cockroaches, the TV felt like it was from the 1990s with no smart TV, and the place is very downgraded. The pipes were loud when neighbours flushed their toilets, the traffic was noisy, and the air-conditioning was loud too. With St Mary's school connected to it, it felt like a high school campus. There’s no buffet breakfast, just a voucher for a shop nobody goes to and kettle coffee. We checked out early. It was a nightmare. Good luck.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 4 nights over the new year's eve hols, on the 21st floor. The room was huge and clean, and the location was great. It had a kitchenette with a microwave, oven, kitchen island and dining table, plus a huge couch, washer and dryer. Bring multi plugs for the bedroom.

For what I paid, the property was nowhere near worth it. I expected much better and won’t be coming back. E&O KL is advertised as a five-star hotel or residence, but it felt run-down and in serious need of renovation. Cleanliness was a major problem. The room didn’t seem properly maintained, and housekeeping needs to improve. Even the pillows were old and smelled unpleasant, which made the stay uncomfortable.

A special thank you to Duty Manager Norman for looking after us during our recent CNY stay at E&O Residences. The bedroom AC wasn’t working when we checked in, so we were offered another room. My boys then had an issue with the bedding, which Norman dealt with quickly the next day, and we moved rooms a second time. The room was comfortable and spacious, though the furnishings and fixtures could use refreshing. Great location, an easy 10mins walk to Pavilion, with lots of food options nearby.
