I like that Fahrenheit88 is a manageable size, with a lively atmosphere and a good selection of specialty shops. It has several Japanese-themed stores and affordable fashion boutiques for younger, trend-focused shoppers. Right opposite Pavilion KL, it’s an easy stop in Bukit Bintang and feels more casual and accessible than its neighbours. The mall is known as a youth and trend hub, with stylish, affordable fashion and distinctive lifestyle products. It’s also home to a huge three-level Uniqlo flagship, with a particularly broad range of the brand’s apparel in Southeast Asia, and Malaysia’s largest Sephora store at the entrance. For a quick shopping visit, it offers a high-quality mix of global and local brands without feeling as overwhelming as the larger nearby malls.

We came for an anime exhibition. The mall is clean and nice, but getting around in a wheelchair is difficult. There’s no accessible parking, and no ramp on the way to the lift. At the glass partition, only the left side of the door opens while the right side is fixed. Luckily a wheelchair just fits through, but it's a tight squeeze. There are no accessible toilets: on the ground floor, stairs block the way to the toilet, and on the second floor there are no stairs to the toilet, but still no accessible facilities. Parking also isn't cashless yet. We had to take a ticket, and the auto-payment machine has no ramp either.

I've been to this mall several times because it's in busy Bukit Bintang. It's clean and modern, with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good crowd. Still, it feels like something is missing without a supermarket or grocery shop. Tourists, families, and locals might want to pick up essentials or do quick grocery shopping after eating or walking around, and there's nowhere inside to do that. There's a baby room, which I appreciate, but it's really small and has no hot or warm water. That makes preparing milk or cleaning up inconvenient for parents. I like the mall and can see its potential, but a grocery option and better family facilities would make it much more useful for everyday needs.

People knew it as KL Mall back in the 80s, and it's now a popular stop with local and foreign visitors. The tunnel walk to Pavilion Bukit Bintang is especially handy when you want to avoid the scorching heat while shopping.

If you love art and are visiting KL, this mall is worth a stop. It often has an art-related exhibition, and you can get there easily by MRT. Just be aware that the area outside gets crowded at night because it's in the middle of Bukit Bintang.
